We lovingly cultivate as much of our stock as possible in modest production beds, which we meticulously keep free of weeds and synthetic pesticides. Our soils and cultivation techniques are individually tailored to each species we grow in an effort to maximize not just our harvest, but also to preserve the integrity of our wild genotypes. We believe in the importance of providing locally-sourced genetics whenever possible to help preserve the unique flora of our region, and employ the highest ethical standards in our sustainable wild harvesting practices. All of our home-grown and wild seed is carefully harvested, and cleaned by hand and wind right here at the nursery.

About the Nursery

Our "micro" habitat restoration program, Osoberry Habitat Service, provides small-scale native gardening and landscaping services in NW WA. As a tiny conservation program founded on years of local service, we take pride in our work to protect and preserve our natural landscapes and native species while promoting ecological understanding, appreciation, and action for the places we call home.

About Osoberry Habitat Service

Osoberry Habitat Service Logo

Ghostflower Grange currently operates on the last 1/2-acre remnant of an historically-sprawling, 95-year-old farm in the heart of downtown Marysville, WA, where we do our best to share the open space with families of gray squirrel, raccoon, deer, rabbit, bat, several species of songbird, a few hundred tree frogs, and the occasional visiting hawk, owl, opossum, and coyote. As a tiny conservation program, we take pride in our work to protect and preserve our natural landscapes and native species while promoting ecological understanding, appreciation, and action for the local ecosystems we call home
